잔잔한 물결의 흐름과 같이 곡선의 규칙적인 짜임을 통해 우리에게 내재된 자유로운 리듬을 발견하고 또는 서로 연결되는 구조 속에 삶의 어떤 규칙을 찾고자 한다. 이러한 조형적 구조와 서정적 감성을 섬유가 지닌 고유의 물성과 융합시켜 표현하고자 한다. 구조가 은은하게 드러나는 소재의 반투명성을 활용하여 바느질, 직조 등의 기법들을 통해 섬유적 요소들을 결합한다.

​ 이렇게 표현되어진 기하학적 섬유형상은 내면의 감동과 울림으로 은유되어, 우리 삶을 성찰하고 자각할 수 있는 서정적 메타포가 되기를 바란다.

Through the regular arrangement of the curves as the flow of calm waves, these works aim to find any rhythm inherent to us through the regular repetition of the same or similar geometrical elements, or to explore any rule of life in a structure that connects us to each other.  This creates a visual expression by blending these formative structures and poetic sensibility with the unique properties of the fiber. It is combined with the feature of textile  pattern. This can deliver a variety of craft techniques  such as translucency that reveal the structure delicately, sewing, weaving, etc. and  details symbolically.

These geometric shapes of fiber are expressed metaphorically with impression and sensation. This is intended to be poetic metaphor to reflect and realize our lives.
